The article examines the causes and consequences of this inattention, emphasizes the need for an interdisciplinary approach to the analysis of disasters, identifies their types, justifies the need for a theoretical distinction between the concepts of rehabilitation and adaptation, as well as a sociological interpretation of the processes of socio-ecological metabolism.
