Abstract

The article informs about the hoard of the Eastern European jewelry with champlevé enamels found at former village Usukh (the South of Bryansk Oblast, lower fl ow of the river Sev). It consists of more than 275 items: women jewelry, items of men’s status culture, some items broken in Antiquity and three ready-mades. All women’s jewelry, apart from beads, was made from bronze. The elements of a whip, three drinking horns and, probably, a girdle clasp are related to the items of men’s culture. The date of the hoard is identifi ed by the stylistic characteristics of the enameled jewelry, the set of beads, the clasp and a mirror – within the period of the end of the 2nd – the second half of the 3rd cc. AD.
