Abstract
The article observes the phrase загнётку ломать in Tambov dialect as a ritual act, referring to the marriage symbolism, which is associated with the concept of integrity and the breach of the integrity. It also provides contexts of using the word загнётки in Russian wedding ceremony with the involvement of other Slavic (Bulgarian) material.
