Abstract

The results of a study of subjective assessments of the level of life satisfaction of Russians are presented. Socio-demographic characteristics, health status, and level of emotional well-being are analyzed. Special attention is paid to the specifics of understanding “happiness” in different age groups and correlating its assessments with the level of perceived well-being. Factors affecting life satisfaction are ranked.
