- Abstract
- The article provides a sociological analysis of the image of the Russian police based on a survey of both the police themselves and the population. This allowed us to test the hypothesis about the perception of the police depending on their socio-economic and socio-cultural characteristics. Special attention is paid to the fact that the image and self-image of the police in the mass consciousness of citizens differ significantly.
