Abstract
The specifics and intersubject connections (demarcations and communications) of electoral sociology are considered. “Joints and inconsistencies” in the segment of the field of social and humanitarian sciences are revealed. The works of Russian researchers of the late XX – early XXI centuries, engaged in the theory and practice of political elections, are used.
