- Abstract
- The article presents the process of the origin of social and sociological thought in Armenia from the early middle ages to the beginning of the XX century. The stage of formation of sociological research and sociological education from the beginning of the 1980s to 1992 is considered in detail. The current state and trends in the development of sociology and sociological research in the Republic Armenia are shown.
