- Abstract
- Some historical and theoretical-methodological aspects of religious sociology are considered. Special attention is paid to the so-called “Christian sociology". Modern problems of the sociological approach to the study of Orthodoxy are presented. The analysis of a number of questions about the situation of the sociology of religion in Russia is carried out. The author's interpretation of the relationship between the sociology of religion and religious sociology is expressed.
