- Abstract
- The potential of visual methods of sociological research are considered in terms of analysis of visual content related to urban social space. According to the definition of visual methods as means to engage visual materials (images especially) in the process of research, our analyses is focused on the range of the research problems for which images are a highly relevant information source. The potential of visual methods is analyzed as well as situations, where use of images is the most effective.
