Abstract
Two letters from Spinoza’s Correspondence are published which are not included into the Russian editions, as well as two biographies of the philosopher made by his contemporaries: the first one is from the Preface to Spinoza’s “Posthumous Works” (1677), the second one is from S. Kortholt’s Preface to the book “On three Great Impostors” (1700). Both biographies have not been translated into Russian.
