- Abstract
- The article discusses the contribution made by Vsevolod Fiodorovich Miller to the field of Ossetian studies. Among the interests of the prominent Russian scholar, there were a variety of aspects of Ossetian traditional culture including folklore, ethnography, ethnic origins, ethnic history, and world-view. The year 2013 marks the 165 th birth anniversary and the centenary of the death of V.F. Miller, the scholar who was among the first editors of the Etnograficheskoe obozrenie journal.
