Abstract
The article considers heuristic potential of the biopower concept through the example of the research of races, reproductive technologies and genomics conducted by Paul Rabinow and Nikolas Rose. The assumption is made about formation of a new model of biopower which is based on the idea of health management in the sophisticated structure of heterogeneous scientific and traditional medical practices.
