Abstract

This article is the publication of the materials of the excavations of the Crimean archaeological expedition of the Moscow State University. These are two places at the north and south entrances to the Greek settlement of the second half of the 4th – the first half of the 3rd cc. B.C. with stone altars that allows to identify them as sanctuaries possessed a protective power. The examples of Greek gods with such power are given. Heracles is considered to be the guardian of the settlement “Chajka”.
