- Abstract
S.F. Platonov played an important role in the preparation and holding of the second regional Archaeological Congress which took place in Tver in 1903. This article is devoted to one of the signifi cant episodes of that preparation – the publication of the archaeological map of Tver Province. In the appendix the correspondence of S.F. Platonov with V.A. Pletnev on this account is published, which allows identifying entirely the role of S.F. Platonov in such an important event.
